Transportation / Riverboats History Link... The Red River steamer Dakota at the Fort Dufferin landing around 1872-1874. The 1873 Mennonite delegates travelled on this boat on the return trip from Winnipeg to Moorhead. That this boat (like the International) carried immigrants is highly probable.
